To allow an individual student to demonstrate their ability to know and do the following course and unit learning outcomes:

• Course Outcome # 2: Analyze corporations and international organizations and their impact on doing business in the hospitality industry globally.
• Unit Outcome # 3.1: Compare hospitality business practices from different regions of the globe.

Assignment Instructions

o Prove the following statement is TRUE using details and examples from an existing global Hospitality company:

“International [global] marketing involves a range of activities which are more complex than domestic marketing, such as marketing research, product design, pricing and branding” (Clarke & Chen, 2007, Chapter 5 – The Marketing Concept section, para.3).

• Students are required to prove the statement is true so that means including data, statistics, details or specific marketing examples from their chosen global Hospitality company that supports the perspective.
• Students should include in their answer justifying the truth of the statement above:
