Purpose:
An important function of an OD consultant is data collection. In this activity you will take up the role of an OD consultant and learn relevant aspects pertaining to data collection—choosing a research method, designing your survey/interview questions/observation plan, and be able to justify your selection choice. Then discuss the problems you faced while collecting empirical data and how you tried to overcome them to ensure you were able to complete your assigned task efficiently.
This assignment will meet the course goals of developing the skills change agents need. And the learning objective of being able to apply these change management skills.
