Steps to Complete for Each Problem Set
Step 1: SPSS spreadsheet
Put the data into SPSS (data view)
Variable view name the variables
label the variables
set the number of decimal places to match the data
set the measure correctly
Use the snipping tool to paste Variable View & Data View into Microsoft Word
Step 2: SPSS t-test
Run the appropriate t-test in SPSS, including all options used in the example linked in BlazeVIEW. For each problem set make sure to determine the correct t-test to run for each problem set. For each data set, use a two-tailed test (SPSS’s default) with a 0.05 alpha level.
Copy the entire output into Microsoft Word.
