Clear body paragraphs that defend your thesis statement and regularly address literary elements.
Quotes and paraphrases from the short story you’ve chosen as well as at least two researched sources from GALILEO, .edu, and/or .gov websites—with MLA internal and external citations
A satisfying conclusion
to use MLA format
to be at least 1000 words
to be well-edited, revised, and proofread
