Introduction and Purpose:
Once you have selected an idea for a new business that you want to explore, completed your
Feasibility Pitch and your Draft Plan you will be ready to proceed to the next step in the
business planning process, the Final Plan Including Financial Forecast. As a reminder here are
the steps we will be following in our Business Planning Project:
The purpose of this assignment is to complete a final version of your business plan by
completing the financial forecast for your business and updating any sections of your draft plan
that you did not complete in your draft. Please read and study all the relevant “reference
chapters” listed on the chart in Step 5 the text before beginning work on your Final Plan.
1). Final LivePlan Business Plan
including Financial Forecast:
Update your draft plan and complete your financial forecast.
Complete all assigned elements (see “LivePlan Business Plan
Assignment Description”) of the LivePlan “Plan” and “Forecast”
sections.
2). LivePlan Final Pitch
Update your “pitch”. Complete all assigned elements (see
“LivePlan Business Plan Assignment Description”) of the LivePlan
“Pitch” sections. Publish your Final Pitch to Microsoft PowerPoint
and submit to the appropriate drop box by the date indicated in
the course schedule
