For this assignment, you will be creating a Student Assignment/Lesson Wakelet Lesson for a group of students with disabilities. The subject should relate to any instructional objectives such as adding fractions, finding the main idea, the branches of the government, etc. Depending on the abilities of the students, they will either go through the Wakelet themselves or with support from their parents.

Include cover or foreground and background images. See link to directions on the Wakelet resource on how to do this as they have changed since the training video was made. Include a title that reflects the topic to be covered and a brief descriptive text box that describes the content and tells the students what they will learn Your Wakelet should be well organized with headings. Remember you can change the descriptive content on uploaded items You can either make the Wakelet Public or Unlisted. Wakelet Content Requirements: It must include a minimum of 10 items: Two Weblinks: Include two links with brief descriptions to two online sites that can be used to help students meet their learning objectives. Be sure to describe to the students what you want them to do. Two YouTube videos: Include Youtube videos with brief descriptions for what you want the students to do with the videos. Two Text Boxes: Include two text boxes that provide relevant information about the topic they are learning Two Images: Include two relevant images that somehow relate to your topic. For example, if you are teaching different types of rocks, you could include images of rocks with descriptions. Two Worksheets or Resources. These worksheets or learning resources can be a PDF, Word Document, PP, etc. related to the topic that you want your students to learn. Be sure to add the documents as an attachment. Students can not work on them on the Wakelet. They have to download it to work on it. Upload to Canvas Make sure that you have made it public or unlisted. A brief description of the grade level of the types of students for whom you created the lessons and the objective of the lesson.
