Propose a research to investigate intervention to increase school connectness in refugee students in the U.S., can compare it with studies done with average American students.
After completing a detailed summary of the article (about a page in length) the student will propose a follow-up study in detail. This would be in the form of a method section. The proposed study could be a systematic replication of the study reviewed (changing one important variable, such as the age or social class of the participants, or changing the intervention or changing the way of measuring the outcome of the study). The proposed study could also be quite different from the article on which it is based. For example, you might want to propose a classroom intervention based on a laboratory study. The method section should include a description of likely participants; a description of the ethical procedures utilized; a description of all interactions with the participants, including a description of any interventions undertaken; a description of any instruments/test used, including their reliability and validity; and a brief description of what the data generated by the proposed study would be and how they would be analyzed.
