Highlight some of the main points of the two essays you read, Kant’s “What is Enlightenment?” and Pinker’s “Enlightenment Now,” and provide with your own understanding of what is Enlightenment.
-List some of the main points each author is making and respond to the following TWO questions:
-Which of the two essays do you find to be more optimistic about the values of the Enlightenment? Explain why.
-Do you see any resonance of Milton’s representation of Satan as a rebellious character with some of the main premises of the Enlightenment?
Write the main statement of 300 words and at least three paragraphs. CITE specific examples/quotes from assigned texts to illustrate points.
