Most of us would like to be more involved in improving our communities. As you work on your proposals this week (assignment 3.1) those obstacles will be on your mind. Discuss one obstacle to civic engagement identified by Rogat Loeb in Chap 4 and one obstacle identified by Dave Meslin in his TED Talk with which you have some personal experience. Relate your comments to a specific idea from our readings/videos from this week.
