1. A good understanding of an ancient culture can be created by bringing together several different kinds of data and evidence. Show this using the example of the Mycenean culture. List 4-5 different kinds of evidence, and state for each one thing that that kind of evidence may tell us about the culture. (10 marks)
2. Discuss 2 examples of modern-day technology being used to help us understand ancient cultures of the past. Be sure to refer to 2 different cultures. What is the technology, what is it being used to study, and what is now known because of it? (10 marks)
3. You are an archeologist and are observing the similarities and differences between sites from ancient cultures. Choose 2 of the sites discussed in this class. Using information from lectures, your notes from the films or your class notes, describe the sites and their locations. Highlight 2-3 artifacts/features found in them. Compare the two sites and describe what the evidence tells us about the cultures. (10 marks)
