On April 27, 2009, HITECH Act (The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act (congress.gov) ) was enacted to promote the implementation of HIT. In your discussion post explain what incentives were proposed under this Act to catalyze and popularize HIT implementation by providers?
