Our topic this week is Oral Presentations . Before you formulate your discussion post, please read chapter 18 in the textbook and watch the short video lecture to gather some information. Then, answer the following prompts in your initial post, and respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts as well, paying attention to correct grammar, spelling, and overall mechanics.
What are some of the differences between written and oral presentations?
How can you use non-verbal communication to your advantage?
What are some strategies to help you become a better public speaker?
Finally, please attach your oral presentation of your final research paper (a PowerPoint with a voiceover) to your post this week for peer and instructor feedback and discuss some of the challenges you had making it.
