While telecommuting (working from home) is not a new practice, it is certainly more common given our current COVID-19 social distancing practices. Given the recent shift for more employers to allow / encourage work from home practices, how have workplace relationships changed? Discuss the impact of the different channels of communication (email, video-conferencing, text, lack of face to face conversations) on messages between coworkers. (If you have no work experience, you can reflect on how these same principles and practices have impacted your school experience.)
Reminder of Reflection Paper Requirements: Each paper should be approximately 500-800 words (2-3 pages) in length. Use standard essay formatting (12 point font, proofread, paragraphs for organization). Your essay should include reflection about each topics; be sure to include at least two key terms (in bold) from the book for each paper. You do not need to explicitly write out the definitions, but incorporate the terms or concept into your reflective journals. Include word count at end of page.
