Learning Outcomes
- Undertake a critical, analytical, and evaluative review of appropriate literature from a wide range of relevant sources in order to construct relevant research aims and objectives for your Social Work Dissertation
- Critically examine a range of data collection methods, exploring limitations in order to propose and justify an appropriate methodological approach to address the aims and objectives of the research study
- Plan and implement a structured Social Work research project, demonstrating effective data collection methods and data analysis, whilst conforming with ethical and research governance requirements.
- Critically analyze and interpret data, elucidating coherent findings and conclusions which respond to the research question, whilst making recommendations for Social Work practice that recognize the limitations of your own study
- Engage in critical thinking and reflection on the effectiveness of current practice and the implications for your own practice
