The second installment of your research paper will be worth 25% of your overall grade. This
installment will contain all the required parts of your research paper: 1) Introduction, 2)
Literature Review, 3) Theory (with hypotheses), 4) Research Design, and 5) Conclusion.
You have already received your grades and feedback for your first installment. You should build
upon your first installment, and make the recommended changes for your second installment.
Further instructions about all the parts of the paper are available on Blackboard.
This assignment will be 8-10 pages with 12-point font, double-spaced, and 1-inch margins. The
page count does not include the bibliography/references and title pages.
Feedback from the first installment where I made a 55 out of 100:
You should add something to this research question to separate it from other studies on ethnicity and voting behavior
You need to follow APA format – specifically, every statement of fact needs a citation in APA format. You should do this whenever you introduce new evidence. This is very important.
Too short – needs more in-depth analysis and a more specific hypothesis.
Make sure to follow APA for bibliography (italics) consistently

Where is your theory section?
Too short!
You should not start a literature review with your hypothesis. The hypothesis takes place at the end of the theory section, and in a clear manner.
The literature review is written in a “Box-Car Method”.
