OBJECTIVE:
The purpose of this assignment is to assess the understanding of the students on the application of the law of partnership in business environments. Every partner is considered an agent to one another to ease the operation of the partnership business. However, this may also pose a problem when partners cannot mutually agree on their terms of reference in the partnership. Students are required to look into the issues, evaluate them and recommend better solutions to the parties.
REQUIREMENT:
1. Students have to identify the main issues regarding the relationship between partners in relation to their roles as agents and their terms of reference, identify relevant principles from the Partnership Act 1961 and the Contracts Act 1950 and apply the relevant principles to the issue, supported by examples and cases.
2. Students are expected to provide their recommendations and conclusion based on the discussion.
