This assignment will take a look at cognitive development in Infancy. For this assignment, you will need to select a book for this indicated age group, read to your child and observe how they are learning and connect observations to class content. If you don’t have a child available,

Choose a physical book for the age group 0-12 months. (You can pull from your home, library, bookstore, etc)
Based on what you have learned in Chapter 5, evaluate your chosen book.
How does the book meet/exhibit some of the points in chapter 5?
How do you think it would facilitate a child’s learning (e.g. are there aspects of the book that aid comprehension, attention, etc.)?
