Task
LO1: Create a wheel & tyre appropriate for a Motorsport application, choose a vehicle and carry out appropriate research into the parametric requirements for a suitable wheel to be designed and fitted to that vehicle, add an appropriately designed tyre to your model explaining the relevance of your tyre choice.
LO2: Assemble a set of provided components and create a video presentation using the provided assembly as a visual aid to your narrative. The subject of the video presentation will be Vehicle Dynamics and you should discuss phenomena relevant to the provided components and their function relating to Motorsport scenarios.
LO3: Carry out and report upon FEA analysis of your wheel, research into the safe working loads of a wheel for your chosen vehicle and application and then in accordance with industry standard safety factors produce a report which analyses your design and concludes with a statement of suitability or recommendation for further development.
