Provide 3 examples of effective approaches to use when working with indigenous learners? Describe how the strategy looks, specific materials used, or how it works in the classroom. In your paragraph discuss differentiated instruction and effective instructional strategies to support the learning needs and the strengths of indigenous learners.
Useful definition to guide your learning: Diversity -classrooms today include a growing number of students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities, students from diverse linguistic or cultural backgrounds. Ensuring that all students can be successful requires teachers to not only understand the unique learning needs of individual students but to be willing to plan for and create optimal learning opportunities and supports throughout the school day. In a diverse classroom, no single method can reach all learners. The teacher aims to create learning situations that match students’ abilities and preferred learning styles while stretching their abilities and encouraging them to try new ways of learning.
