Use
proper APA citing (APA Seventh Edition). Make sure that paragraphs are
well-connected to one another. Consider transitions, the main point of each
paragraph, and your line of argument. Only use one idea in each
paragraph. Clarify the one, two, or three arguments that you would like
to make. Your review of the research can be historical, comparative, or
conceptual. Preference – write a conceptual review, that is, you
identify the main concepts in the literature. Avoid using quotes. You
should develop an outline that clearly specifies your line of argument.
Do not use quotation marks for emphasis. Only use “I,” “we,” or “you”
for your reflection. Do not use the name of the article or book; instead, use the author’s name, i.e., English (2022) states…Do not include
information about how the study was conducted or the number of people
interviewed. Just state the results.
Discuss the leadership theories from this course (mention what you learned from the theories using the 3rd
person -no “I” statements). Don’t just summarize. Include the most
salient points raised in the articles and make connections. Course
theories: Etzioni’s strategies: coercive, remunerative and normative,
and distributed leadership. Provide examples of transactional and
transformational leadership (Leithwood) and your sense of when you might
use these types of leadership strategies. Include leadership lessons
learned from Leithwood, Sun & Schumaker. What did you learn about
the Four Paths Model, and how will utilize aspects of the Four Paths’
model when you are a school leader? Share examples from the article.
Include 4-5 references. Utilize correct APA in-text citing and include a reference page. (5-6 pages)
