You will be required to draw from the literature introduced throughout the module to develop a critical analysis of an area of healthcare practice you are familiar with e.g. primary care, cardiac care, palliative care, prison healthcare, surgical care from a single, well-defined team dimension e.g. leadership, communication, role clarity, decision making, psychological safety, family member involvement.
Using an appropriate framework, model, or validated tool, you will analyze and reflect alongside published literature on the context and processes of current ways of working noting strengths and areas for improvement towards greater team-based practice.
You will present this analysis using text and tables as needed, and you will draw from this to produce recommendations for improving team-based working, alongside an evaluation plan for assessing success and impact on outcomes.
