Use materials available in the course and follow the format provided in the PUBH 585 Assignment Guide to complete this assignment under the details of expectations for Module 3 Summary, Background, and Original Data content.
The Summary, similar to an abstract, is a stand alone summation of the entire grant proposal, requiring you to start planning your qualitative research study this week. The Background can be built off of the Module 1 introduction to climate change and its impact on people with disabilities and the Module 2 definition of key words. It will also include two 9-point reviews of primary research articles. You may use the ones you submitted in the Module 1 response posts. Then link all of these parts in a conclusion of the background with an emphasis on the breadth and depth of impact of climate change on people with disabilities.
The section on your original data includes a statement of quantitative research question 1 (RQ1), introduction of two data sets you are proposing to use to create original findings, and an explanation of how these findings will contribute to the body of knowledge on climate change’s impact on people with disabilities. The Background conclusion then unites the analysis of existing knowledge with the potential of the original findings.
Word Counts
Word counts indicated for each section are strict. Your submission for a given section will be cut when the maximum word count is reached for that section. After each section, indicate the number of words used in the section next to where it indicates the maximum word count for the section. Content which is truncated in the middle of a sentence will be considered a grammatical error and any content after the cut will not be considered in the proposal and will not count towards fulfilling expectations. There is no flexibility in word counts.
