What did you learn about yourself?
I learned some great things in this class. But what I learned about myself that with hard work I can accomplish and get things done. when this class started, I looked at all the assignments, exams, and discussions I got fears. Because I have not done school in 20 plus years I was lost and didn’t think I could do it. And I was telling myself if this class is hard what am going to do with hard classes. By the end of the first week, my fears went away, and everything seem easy.
What stressors and or “hassles” do you recognize in your life?
When I started doing wood working and carpentry, it was a competitive job. Workers were intimidated that I might take their job so they were afraid to teach its’s the nature of the trade. I was going through 2-3 jobs a year for the first 6 years. After I realized every time when I go to a new company im learning a few new things or new techniques from seeing or preforming. just when I was starting to get stable I started moving around company to company just to learn new things. 12 years later being in the trade, I worked my way to advance level, now I have 20 years’ experience.
What measures can you take in order to lower your stress and optimize your health and well being?
