This is an individual coursework that requires you to:
1. Critically review the literature on sustainability in relation to corporations.
2. Choose two public listed firms from the same industrial sector, one in UK and the other from the US to discuss what they report on corporate sustainability and how they differ.
3. Discuss whether non-financial reporting can inform the responsible investor as to whether to buy/sell/hold the company stock? What are the issues/problems that investors may face in this decision?
4. Discuss, in your conclusion, if and how the non-financial reporting can be improved by companies to better inform regulators and investors.
You will be required to use journal articles, relevant websites and books to source information.
