APA Paper Synthesis Paper
Students will develop a detailed application or essay on popular culture in education. The application could be a unit plan that includes an extension of the theme project, or on a specific issue or idea regarding popular culture in education. The essay should be a synthesis of issues discussed in class as applied to education. The focus should be less on summarizing the issue or theme. Rather, focus heavily on the analysis and the application of the issue/theme. This essay should be approximately 6-7 pages for undergraduate students and 8-10 pages for graduate students. As part of your paper, you must cite readings from class and outside readings to support your unit or argument.
