Personal Weinert Moment – I was raised by my mom after my father left when I was 5. My mom was working full time and from time time that I went to kindergarten I was home alone most days after school until someone would come home around 5 or 6. It is interesting – that I have always had a hard time being socially normal and am very awkward at times. I am overly emotional and I am that insecure ambivalent to a tee.

HOWEVER – without overshare – a women who I started dating in graduate school really taught me how to act more socially correct and how to do things to fit in (as my friends put it house trained me). I must have ruined her – because she is still single and very happy without a relationship.

I have been married to my wife for the last 24 years – I am now very securely attached (my test scores prove it).

Do you think this idea of attachment is really true – or is is more complex?
