Focus on punctuation issues, specifically the use of the comma, semicolon, and q

Focus on punctuation issues, specifically the use of the comma, semicolon, and quotation marks. First, go over the reading section in the Hacker book– section “P” (punctuation) p. 259-285. This isn’t information to memorize, but spend some time looking at each section to understand the rule that is being explained. Then, go to https://owl.purdue.edu/owl_exercises/punctuation_exercises/index.html (Links to an external site.) There are 4 different short quizzes related to various punctuation– go through each quiz carefully, noting any errors you make along the way.
Once you are finished and have identified any areas that may have caused some difficulty, share your results with the class. Which (if any) of the rules did you stumble over? Provide example sentences showing these grammar points in action. This can also be an opportunity to discuss any and all grammar or punctuation questions or issues that you might have as well, so you don’t have to limit this only to commas, semicolons, and quotation marks.
See attachment for p.259-285
