For this field trip you are required to visit a local community and evaluate how sustainable they are. This could be your local community, or one that you visit for this trip. Spend about 2 hours walking around the community, maybe stop to sit on a bench and watch people, or eat lunch. You need to spend some time in the area to get a sense of how sustainable the community is. As you walk and observe, think about the following: are there sidewalks, public transit, or do cars dominate. Does the community have visible trash, are the buildings in good repair, do many people walk in the community?
For your trip report answer the following questions. Make sure to meet the min 500 required word count (do not include the questions in your word count or answers – just the numbers). Remember to use your own words and thoughts.
