For this week’s Discussion Board, I would like us to consider how we all participate in the process of Globalization. Take a look at 5 products that you have in your house where you can easily tell where it was made (clothing is often the easiest). Try to find at least 3 different countries of origin for your five items (so do not have all five items being made in China for example). At the beginning of your initial post, list the items and their country of origin. For one of the items, do a little research on that country (look at the average wage earned or determine the living conditions of the average factory worker) or see if you can find where in the country items like the one you have are made. Share what you discover in your post. Finally, identify one realization that you gained by looking at these items this way and one question that you now have about globalization.
