I am taking a social movements course and I need to write a research paper on the Pschedelic Movement (which started in the 1960s) and how it has influcenced the technology we have today. Technology examples such as Steve Jobs and the iPhone, cinematic developments in terms of filming and audio, and other technologies that have been innovated and influced through the use of Psychedelics such as LSD and Shrooms.
There are 3 sources to be used:
1. The Harvard Psychedelics Club by Don Lattin
2. Steve Jobs Autobiography by Walter Isaacson
3. Vision, culture, and technology in the psychedelic sixties by Andrew Derek Syder
The Research Paper must include:
1. The foundation of the Psychedelic Movement.
2. Definition of Movement and Explanation of why the Psychedelic Movement is considered a movement.
3. Examples of Psychedelic users and their backgrounds.
4. How psychedelics and the psychedelic movement influenced today’s society and social movements.
5. How psychedelics and the psychedelic movement influenced technology and social networking.
6. Conclusion.
