If you choose a law from the Twelve Tables, briefly summarize its meaning and explain what it suggests or reveals about Roman society. As an alternative, you can choose a law whose meaning you find puzzling and so have questions about. (I recommend choosing from Table IV, Table V or Table VIII, though you can choose any law in the Twelve Tables.)
