Why did I choose this topic?
I decided to choose the topic of overpopulation to focus my paper on. I believe that a lot of people overlook the effects that overpopulation has caused to our environment. As the population around the world increases so does the demand for food, housing, energy, water and much more. When I walk around New York City it baffles me as to how crowded it is everywhere I go. I am very intrigued into digging into the issue deeper and finding out exactly what effects overpopulation has caused or is causing.
