You had practice writing a business letter when you did your cover letter, and this one is formatted the same way.
For this assignment, you will be resigning from your educational career at Ivy Tech. This letter will use the same format you used for your cover letter. Ch. 16 of your text has more details.
Using the information on p. 258-259 of your text, write a letter to an instructor, your program chair or someone who has been a major part of your experience at Ivy Tech. (You won’t be mailing it, but you can if you choose to.) You will need to include your last day of employment (in this case, your last day of class, or your graduation date.) Include a positive statement about your experience, and include the inside address and date, just as in the sample on p. 259.
