In class we watched the National Geographic documentary, Stress: Portrait of a Killer (available on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYG0ZuTv5rs).
After viewing the film please post a discussion post and responses to 2 other students’ post answering the following questions.
1. What do college students, baboons, and British civil students have in common in regards to stress?
2. What did the film discuss in regards to social hierarchy and stress?
3. What are some examples of hierarchies shown in the film?
4. What are some other examples of hierarchies you have observed in society? In school?
5. Pick one hierarchy and discuss a way that the negative impacts could be alleviated?
Provide examples from the film, the textbook, and your observations.
To receive full credit you will need to critically examine and provide examples from the film which support your interpretation, relate the film to the readings we have done, and utilize best writing practices to effectively convey your message (correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc.).
