Read both Trifles by Susan Glaspell and “Good Country People” by Flannery O’Conner. Both texts are in both the 12th and 13th editions of your anthology and widely available online.
For this assignment, you will craft an outline for an essay. You do not need to write a full essay, title page, or works cited page. The outline should demonstrate an understanding of thesis statements, premises, essay structure, and level 4 analysis. The number of paragraphs is up to your discretion, but should be adequate to fully discuss the topic and support your thesis.
Submit as a .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .odt file. No other filetypes (such as PDF or .gdoc) will be accepted.
Do NOT do any research for this. Do not look online to try to find the answer to this topic. All analysis should be your own. If you have questions about the topic, you are allowed to contact me. Do not get any other outside help of any kind. This includes looking at websites such as SparkNotes, asking friends or family, etc. Any analysis that does not come from your own brain, or any other kind of outside help, WILL BE CONSIDERED CHEATING AND WILL RESULT IN A ZERO.
No late submissions will be accepted. The final is due to the dropbox by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, May 4. Remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that the final exam is in the dropbox before the deadline, in an accepted filetype. Double-check the dropbox to make sure that you submitted the correct file and that it is not corrupted. Make sure that you receive a submission receipt in your D2L email. Remember that you can submit multiple documents to the assignment dropbox. I will grade which document was the most recent submission before the deadline unless you request otherwise.
Topic: Compare the two texts.
