IMPORTANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carefully read and understand the information below:

  1. Title of your Article or video:

  1. What newspaper, magazine, or Internet site did the article appear in?

Attach a link to the article, video, or copy the magazine found and attach.

    1. Summarize the article. Do not simply copy a news event. Explain the event in your own words.

  1. Answer all of the following questions: A. Express your opinion about the information in the article. B. What did you learn from the article? C. How can the information affect your life? Or, if the information does not affect your life, whose life would it affect, and in what way?

  1. If you were going to write a detailed report about the topic covered in the article, what are three questions that you would ask in order to acquire additional relevant information that was not mentioned in the article?

  1. YOU CAN POST YOUR CURRENT EVENT DIRECTLY INTO THE DISCUSSION AREA OR ATTACH IT. IT IS YOUR CHOICE.

The instructor reserves the right to modify this schedule.

Please also notice that the article should relate to an issue that is affecting or taking place in the United States or Internationally. I am looking for students to read articles that are directly relevant to Business. Articles about the unemployment rate in Greece for example may

be interesting, but the direct consequence for business may be tenuous at best. If the main thrust of the article however is how Greece’s unemployment rate will affect the business in America and Greece (and the entire article focuses on how a foreign issue will affect the United States economy in particular), then that article will be acceptable. Very few articles focusing on foreign issues, however, are written from this perspective.
