The News & Article discussion forum requires the student to find a current and relevant news and/or article on the required topics. Students are expected to participate in each discussion at least 3 days per module week, beginning no later than day 4 of a given module week. Minimum posting participation requires students to post at least 2 times, other than their own initial responses to the thread. Participation is defined as the quality, frequency, and distribution of responses throughout the week.
Relevant topics restricted to:
News/article discussing how bond values were impacted by some firm specific event, earnings, industry change or other similar events.
News/article involving the bond market rallying or selling off.
News/article discussing bond default or high yielding bonds in general.
Required elements (a minimum of 150 words with APA format):
Find a news/article related to one of the given topics.
Write a summary of the news/article with the reference source.
Explain how the news/article is relevant to the chosen topic.
Discuss how you would apply or transfer what you have learned from the news/article to a real-world situation or your own personal/professional experience.
