This annotated Bibliography should focus on an overview of research by historians of archaeology. It is
important that the approach of each source becomes clear. It is intended to show what research says about the production of knowledge within the archaeological science. Who decides what is archaeological
science and what is not.
Of particular interest is literature that deals with:
– How archaeological knowledge is acquired today compared to the past
– > Histography of Archaeological research.
– Investigations of power structures (discourse power) within the established archaeological sciences.
Please do not discuss too much of your own view (it should not be a literature review but an annotated bibliography) it should provide a true overview
of the research. Please not less than 30 sources.
