Grant Cover letter- You don’t need to label this. It should be placed in a Microsoft Word Document.
Please create a grant cover letter. Make sure it has a date, return address, mailing address, salutation, Body, and the complimentary close, and the signature line. You do not need to label each section. Just list the information that would go in each spot.

In the first paragraph it should include your organization (IUPUI) and how much money you are requesting.
In the second paragraph, give an overview of the project.
In the third paragraph, tell what this can do for the general population
You must have a closing (Sincerely).
You must sign your name.
Put the word ENCLOSURE at the bottom.
The summary should be succinct and accurate description of the proposed work when separated form the application. It should state the general purpose, specific goals, research design, methods and significance. It should be no more than 250 words.
It should include the statement of the problem, purpose of research, research goals or objectives, and the significance of the research. It should be no more than one page.
Share your preliminary research that you took to do the project. Avoid using direct quotes.
Supply the details of the project (including statement of the problem, research objectives or goals, hypotheses, methods, procedures, outcomes or deliverables, and evaluation of the research.
What is the skill set that you are requiring. Who is your Principal Investigator? Who are the other people are helping with the project.? List the PD/PI’s first name, last name. Include role and degree level. Then list all of the other Senior Key Personnel in alphabetical order, first name, then last name.. Indicate the Organization Name, and role on the project.
Budget and Future Funding
Take the details from Form Page 4- Detailed budget for initial Budget Period, put this information in your Microsoft Word document.
Consider personnel, equipment, buildings, supplies, insurance, training and other costs that will be incurred as a result of your proposal. Justify your costs. Most grants will have funding for a certain amount of time. How do you plan to finance your proposal if the grant funding was not renewed after the initial time frame? List your budget first, then talk about future funding. This should be at least one page. Make sure it makes sense. Do your research! Make sure you justify your expenses.
What is your timeframe? When will you begin and complete each step? Please put the information in a table or Gantt Chart format.
You must cite your sources in APA format (using in-text citations and in the reference list.
Plagiarism will be assessed using Grammarly. Plagiarism should not exceed 30%. If it over 31%, you will receive a zero for the assignment. Points are deducted 21% to 30%.
Grammarly will be used to assess spelling and grammar.
Use Times New Roman and 12 point font.
It should be no more than 10 pages.
