5- What they are looking for is how persuasive the case memo is. Does it convince the reader that your analysis of the situation and solution is effective? And do you use the evidence in the case effectively in support of your position on the issues/ Thus, the key criteria in which you will be assessed are:
Resolve the issue in the case: problem, decision, or evaluation
Quality of evidence-based analysis and recommendation
Overall persuasiveness of arguments
Ability to abstract above case details to focus on the general lessons for global HRM (i.e. level of insight in key takeaway).
6- A memo is a short internal note so you can choose to write the memo from and to internal company members. It should provide a concise summary of the key issues and what needs to be addressed in the case, provide evidence to support your response to the issues and explore the risks/limitations/consequences of your proposal.
7- References may be used when it is appropriate such as supporting new recommendations. It is also possible that you may resort to a well-known framework that suggests criteria that you will use to support your analysis of the issues in the case and a reference should be provided for this.
