After reading chapter 9 from Corey and Chapter 2 from Caldwell, identify the legal and/or ethical issues raised in the following brief scenarios AND consider how you would respond to the scenario:
1. Your supervisor does not provide what you consider to be adequate supervision. He sometimes cancels supervision sessions and when you do get time with your supervisor, he seems overwhelmed with responsibilities. You are left mainly on your own with a difficult case load.
2. During the course of supervision, you become aware that some personal challenges you are facing are interfering with your ability to work effectively with clients.
3. One of your peers and fellow supervisees tells you that he/she/they are engaged in a sexual relationship with your shared clinical supervisor.
Students will respond to questions based on the topic and the readings. Responses should be double spaced and allow for approximately ½ to 1 page per question. Use citations from the reading to support your ideas.
