Learning Goal: I’m working on a philosophy question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.Each student is expected to make a 500 word original post of their own expressing an original thought or idea or question pertaining to any part of the semester’s reading of relevance during that four-week period. In addition, each student is expected to provide two separate replies in some way to the 500 word original posts of another student (no word count requirement on replies, but they needs to have substance—see below).DIRECTIONS (PASTED FROM SYLLABUS):Students will earn 15 of their 25 possible points through the 500 word original post, and up to 5 pts each for the two replies.Scoring for the posts breaks down as follows:15 pts: the 500 word original post must be coherent and must contain a philosophically interesting point; it must be grammatically coherent, avoid irrelevant, silly, or trivial considerations, and must contain a point of view that others may challenge or agree with. Scoring for this post will be assessed accordingly.Two 5 pt replies: replies to other students posts must be more than “I like your point,” “I agree/disagree,” but must provide either a rebuttal of some kind, or supplement the point in some manner.
