Watch CASEL Webinar, August 24, 2018, second SEL assessment design challenge 1st place winner, Dr. Ryan Kettler, describe SEL assessment, SARSEC. Dr. Kettler is a Rutgers University Professor at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. In the CASEL webinar, he addresses his team’s efforts to meet the challenge identified in the first CASEL SEL assessment design contest, which is the need to involve practitioners’ perspectives in social-emotional (SE) competence assessments design. Listen and note how Dr. Kettler’s team meets the challenge of applying SEL practitioners’ perspectives and their focus on moving SARSEC as an SEL assessment forward.
