Here is your topic: We all know that we are at risk for a variety of physical and mental health issues based on both our genetics (Nature factors) and our lifestyle choices and behaviors (Nurture Factors). Knowing this, how many people do you know who have created a family health tree that provides you with health information on your parents, grandparents, and great grandparents? I imagine very few, since people don’t think about looking into their family’s health as a predictor to their own health.
-How could this information aid a physician and other health care professional in properly explaining your risk factors for various illnesses?
-What physical and/or mental health related issues are you likely to deal with given your Nature and Nurture factors?
-Why is prevention so important in many health and mental health related issues and how do you plan to work on your personal prevention?
