One of your roles as a school counselor will be aiding students through the college process. You will assess, explore, and apply the process to a student.
The purpose of this assignment is to give you experience in helping students through the college process. You will attentive to provide best fit colleges, based upon their academics and social/environmental situation.
You will be given a case study of s student. For this counselee, develop the process indicated above and conclude with an application to city (New York) (CUNY), state (New York) (SUNY) and private post-secondary institutions. During the exploratory stage, limit the search to approximately fifteen to twenty colleges, which are to be narrowed to five to seven choices, to which the counselee will apply.
CASE STUDY: STUDENT FINAL COURSE PROJECT GUIDELINES
Each person will be assigned one of the following cases. Identify 6 colleges that you would recommend for the student. At least two must be dream, two target and two safetys. Give a rationale for each choice. You also must write a letter of recommendation for the student.

College Going Student:
1. Presentation of computer search results.
2.Accurate identification of reach/dream, target/match and safety/back up colleges, including rationale for each type.
3. Financial aid reach/dream, target/match and safety/back up
4. Cultural and developmental consideration in rational for each school
5.Quality and thoroughness of counselor recommendation
For Example: If your doing Fordham University- 1. Rationale on why Student would be a good fit at Fordham university, 2. what is the financial prospect for the student at the college 3. what are the cultural and development considerations for students at this college will she have people there who are relatable to her culture
Format of the Paper Should Be As Follows:
