It sounds like you want to DESCRIBE the different lived experiences between children of incarcerated parents and those of children of non-incarcerated parents. But what will this research study tell us that we don’t already know? The purpose of the research articles is to demonstrate that there is a need for what you want to study. But you’ve clearly demonstrated that there is a link between “unhealthy development” and incarcerated parents. If we already know this…what is something new that you want to research?
