Epidemiology has grown and developed into an evidence-based practice used to design interventions to reduce morbidity and mortality in a population. Epidemiology is used to promote health, create public health policy, and aid in individual decision-making.
Chose a health condition from the Healthy People 2020-2030 objectives. Apply the clinical epidemiologic approach explained in the previous paragraph by identifying the cause of health outcomes, EBP methods or interventions to reduce morbidity and mortality, ways to promote health, and your recommendations.
