Select an example of a real-life problem in business ethics that has occurred in the last five years. Research it and write an ethical analysis. Follow this outline in your paper:
Introduction—summary of the facts of the case, especially the facts that have moral significance.
Body of paper—present the details of the case that have ethical importance and discuss how they were handled by the authorities and people involved; then analyze the actions taken from an ethical theory perspective, i.e. egoist (self-interest), consequentialist (utilitarian), or non-consequentialist (Kantian or divine command). Then critique the actions; do you agree or disagree with what was done in the case? Why or why not? Then discuss your personal ethical perspective; what would you have done and why? Defend your answer and include relevant biblical material.
Summary and conclusion—review the case briefly and how it was handled, and review your opinion and conclusions from an ethical theory and biblical perspective.
