Some of the global challenges that we have studied this session are global environmental change, technology and global health/the social dimensions of COVID-19. Please choose one of them, and critically analyze how structural factors (such as colonialism, racial capitalism, gender inequality, etc.) impact the distinctive ways in which people around the world live with or experience this challenge. Additionally, mention some of the responses to the challenge that have emerged from different collectives, social movements or communities.

Your paper must be between 1100 and 1300 words long. Make sure to cite at least three authors from the course’s readings (or videos/podcast), and at least two external sources (news article, video, website, another academic article, etc.). Your analysis should also include your own perspective regarding the responses to the global challenge you select and what the readings discuss.
