The purpose of this assignment is to develop a project implementation and closure plan. This content will become part of the final project management plan to be submitted in Topic 8.
The closing process provides a set of procedures for formally accepting the project’s product, service, or system so that the project or phase can be brought to an orderly close. Closure may include processes for contract closure and administrative closure. Contract closure ensures that all of the deliverables and agreed-upon terms of the project have been completed and delivered. It allows resources to be reassigned and provides account settlement or payment. Administrative closure involves documenting and archiving all project documents.
Using the case study selected for the previous assignments, review either the “Husky Air – Pilot Angels” or the “The Martial Arts Academy – School Management System” extended case study content at the end of Chapter 12 in the textbook. Using the guidelines presented in the textbook, complete “Deliverable: Project Implementation and Closure” at the end of Chapter 12.
APA style is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
